Hi, I'm Mildred — the designer, illustrator, and strategist behind Mil & Co.

I started this studio because I kept seeing a gap: organizations with important work to share, and communications that didn't do that work justice. I wanted to change that.

I bring over a decade of marketing and communications experience across industries that couldn't be more different including Pizza Hut, Domino's, Avon, Northwestel. What they had in common was my curiosity about how each business actually worked, not just how it looked. That instinct never left me. Marketing has always been my strongest passion, and illustration the creative thread running through all of it. Mil & Co. is where both finally live in the same place.

Most of my clients are institutions, nonprofits, and government organizations in Yukon and beyond mostly the kind of organizations that care deeply about the communities they serve. I've had the privilege of working with the Yukon Legislative Assembly, Teslin Tlingit Council, the Yukon Federation of Labour, and others.

I designed the Mil & Co. brand myself. Not to brag, but because it's probably the most honest proof of what I do.
